There is a culture I no longer believe in Thought police posing as my friends They’ll tell you who you are, what offends them They’ll tell you everything ain’t as good as it used to be Well, well, well... Well I’m getting out I’m getting out Get me outta here! Maybe we need to learn to listen Maybe we’ll develop empathy Don’t tell me who I am, what offends me I promise you everything’s better than it used to be. Well, well, well... Well I’m getting out I’m getting out Get me outta here. Sometimes that’s how it goes Sometimes you just don’t know Sometimes you gotta go Sometimes you gotta go to know Sometimes, oh sometimes...

How will know if you never go? You gotta give yourself a chance. I know that it’s hard, we wear our battle scars. The future is your second act, as you’ll learn for yourself. How can you grow if you never show a little vulnerability? I’m accountable, the only way, you know, but I can’t rewrite old history. as you’ll learn for yourself. What cannot be taught by anybody else, learn for yourself. We all make mistakes, sometimes hearts will break. We will always share the moon. She sees everything. New stories will begin. You will learn to love again, as you’ll learn for yourself. What cannot be taught by anybody else, learn for yourself. Escape your fresh hell. Liberate yourself from your prison cell. Learn for yourself. Escape your fresh hell. Let everybody else carry empty shells.

Searchlights 02:42
Remember when we were kids? We’d put those records on, lie there on your bed, hold hands and sing along with glow in the dark stars above our heads. I still remember every single word you said. When you close your eyes all that you’ll see is everything you’re not and all you’ll never be. When you’re gone these lungs still breathe. Broken hearts and searchlights out at sea Felt like midwinter’s day when you turned and walked away. I still remember the look strapped to your face. If i knew then just what I know now I’d make the same mistakes, I’d still let you down. When you close your eyes all that you’ll see is everything you’re not and all you’ll never be. When you’re gone these lungs still breathe. Broken hearts and searchlights out at sea
